Why employ an apprentice

It’s no secret that employing apprentices is positive for business.

In fact, 96% of employers that take on an apprentice report benefits, with apprentices bringing new ideas and energy to organisations, helping to provide a competitive edge.

At The Learning Foundry, we support businesses looking to recruit new members to their team or upskill existing staff through our range of high quality apprenticeship programmes.

Available to anyone over the age of 16 and covering all levels and abilities, apprenticeships give employers the perfect opportunity to develop staff in-house.

All of our programmes are delivered in line with national standards and have been developed alongside industry professionals to meet the individual needs of the businesses we work with.

At the end of the apprenticeship programme, you can be confident that your newly qualified member of staff will be fully equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to make an instant impact to your business.

Why employ an apprentice?

Apprenticeship Levy

To encourage businesses to take on more apprentices, the government has introduced the Apprenticeship Levy, requiring all employers operating in the UK, with an annual pay bill of over £3 million, to pay a 0.5% levy on their tax bill.

For businesses, the levy is an opportunity to re-think their approach to workforce development and further grow their organisation.

At The Learning Foundry, we’ll support you throughout the entire levy process, so you get the most out of your levy entitlement.

The Learning Foundry will carry out a FREE levy health check and training needs analysis of your workforce and put a tailored training programme in place, which allows you to strategically maximise your levy contributions. Our training is tailor-made around your business needs and can be delivered at times, dates and locations to suit you.
