Free AEB Courses with Guaranteed Interviews for Paid Roles Available

March has two stand-out courses with 'routeways' into paid work and a guaranteed interview upon successful completion of the course: for support Workers, in partnership with PSS, there are three full time roles available, whilst the Customer Service Assistants course, in partnership with Regenda Homes, also has three roles available.

These courses are fully funded for those aged 19+ who live in the Liverpool City Region and are unemployed and in receipt of benefits or employed and earning below £17,500.

Level 2 Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care Course (accredited by City and Guilds)

Running for 2-3 days per week for 6 weeks ( Mainly Mondays and Tuesdays)

 

9.30am – 4.00pm

This is a routeway with PSS who have 3 posts available. 1 full time (37 hrs) and 2 part time (30 hrs and 21 hrs).The vacancies are based on Rice Lane, Walton and the role will be working with adults with Learning Disabilities.  Learners who complete the course will be guaranteed an interview.  
 

Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development  with specialist Business Administration / Customer Service pathway

We are working closely with Regenda Homes who have confirmed that they have 3 Customer Service vacancies available and will be offering interviews (Assessment Centre places) to candidates who successfully complete this course and are keen to apply.  These will be a mix of full and part time hours and will be Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm (these hours are likely to reduce after April.  The salary will be £19,864 per year.

5 week level 1 childcare course, held at Fun4Kidz premises to provide an opportunity for those looking to work in childcare. Units include:

  • Awareness of Safeguarding
  • Caring for babies & young children
  • Improving own confidence
  • Prejudice and discrimination awareness
  • Craft Activities                
  • Job Seeking Skills

                  

Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development  with specialist IT pathway

  • Presentation skills
