National Apprenticeship Week 2020

National Apprenticeship Week is an annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships across England that recognises and applauds apprenticeship success stories across the country, taking place 3-7 February.

The Learning Foundry has a long and very successful track record in helping learners of all ages gain an apprenticeship across a number of subject areas including: Housing, Management, Dental and Childcare.

Joanne Abraham, Managing Director at The Learning Foundry said: ‘We are immensely proud of all our apprentices. Many progress on to an apprenticeship after completing a Traineeship with us, so we see first-hand their huge improvements in confidence and skills throughout their learner journey. We pride ourselves on providing the best service to our learner but also on providing quality candidates for our business partners who benefit from the talent we nurture.’

One Regenda Homes employee who recently graduated said: ‘I feel more confident and able to understand work issues beyond my role. I’m ready to step up to the next career challenge, possibly a Housing Officer role.’

Another said: “I feel like I understand the organisation more. I was delighted to be promoted to the role of Senior Debt Officer during my studies. I’m looking forward to doing my Level 4 with hopes of stepping into a management role in the future.”

The Learning Foundry also provides unrivalled services to businesses across the Liverpool City Region in helping them attract new talent or upskill existing staff. For Levy paying organisations, a specialist team from The Learning Foundry can carry out a Levy Health Check to ensure businesses are maximising their contributions. Services are also available to help Non-Levy paying organisations understand the process and the huge benefits that can be gained from employing an apprentice.

A comprehensive recruitment service is also provided by The Learning Foundry who will identify apprentice opportunities, design and draft vacancies and recruit the ideal candidate into the role.

We have a bank of apprenticeship students ready to commence work now – make use of this talent before they are snapped up elsewhere.
