A look back at National Apprenticeship Week 2022

What a fantastic National Apprenticeship Week we had this year!   Let’s recap on what took place last week:

Monday

The perfect start to National Apprenticeship Week! We spoke to Matthew Rothwell about his journey from apprentice to Director of Safety and Business Performance at M&Y Maintenance and Construction. Read his story here.

Tuesday

#AskAnEmployer time!  We spoke to The Regenda Group about their commitment to nurturing new and existing talent through apprenticeships.

Wednesday

Susie and Lauren took over our Instagram for #AskAnApprentice!  Lauren is a former apprentice now working in The Regenda Group’s People and Learning team, and helped us to bust those common myths about apprenticeships!  Susie is a Digital Content Apprentice with the Marketing and Communications Team and told us about how with an apprenticeship, she chose a different path!

Thursday

We focused on Childcare for #ThankYouThursday!  The sector has been key during the pandemic, and there are some amazing opportunities available now with Kids in Bloom!  Click here to find out more.

Friday

We were so proud of The Regenda Group’s apprentices at their Graduation Ceremony!

A big thank you to Martin Hewitt, top adventurer, for his inspirational talk too.

A round-up of the winners:

Apprentice of the Year - George Weston, Regenda Homes

Manager of the Year - Jayne Eccles, Regenda Homes
