Apprenticeships we offer:

Level 3 Early years Educator 


Accredited by

City and Guilds 


Duration

18-20 months (Learners will then complete an end of programme assessment to achieve their apprenticeship)


Who is it for?

For individuals working in childcare who would like to further their career and move into a senior role within the sector. You should have experience of working with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and be a key worker, responsible for observing and assessing children.

 

How it’s delivered:      

•  A series of workshops (delivered monthly online)

•  Monthly one to one remote or workplace visits.


Qualification

Learners will achieve Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator) and will also obtain a mandatory qualification in Paediatric First Aid. 


Progression route

This qualification allows learners to progress to more senior management roles in the childcare sector with the potential to undertake further management training. 

Entry requirements: 

To undertake this programme, learners must  be working in a childcare setting in a key worker role. They must hold five GCSE’s (grade A* - C / 9-4), achieve Level 2 in English and Maths during initial assessment or already hold Functional Skill level 2 in Maths and English.

Level 2 Early Years Practitioner

12-18 months (Learners will then complete an end of programme assessment to achieve their apprenticeship)


Who is it for

This qualification is ideal for those working in an entry level role or are new to the early years or childcare sector, who work and interact directly with children on a day to day basis supporting the planning of and delivery of activities.


Entry requirements

To undertake this programme, learners must be working in a childcare setting. They must hold five GCSE’s (grade A* - E / 9-3) or achieve Level 1 in English and Maths during initial assessment or already hold functional skills in Maths and English.


Qualification

Learners will achieve Early Years Practitioner level 2


Progression route

This qualification allows learners to progress into higher level roles to work in a childcare environment with limited supervision, as well the opportunity to gain Early Years Educator Level 3.
