This is a great course for anyone who's not sure what they want to do. It's designed to improve your employability so you'll work on developing the key skills you need to take the next steps into a career!

Will I get work experience?
As part of this course, you'll undertake a work experience placement with a top local employer. It's all about YOUR future so we'll help you identify which sector you're interested in, and we'll find a workplace that supports your career goals.
Will I get a qualification?
Upon completion of the course you'll gain a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.

Housing - start right away!
Ask anyone how they got into a career in housing and they’ll tell you they fell into it. And then they’ll tell you they fell in love with it. From customer services to human resources, marketing and communication to lettings, ICT to rents. Whatever your interest, you’ll find a role in the housing sector. But more than that – you’ll make a difference to the lives of others every day. You’ll flourish and grow and find the perfect place to picture your future in housing.
What will I learn?
You’ll discover the wide variety of opportunities available in the housing sector, from front facing roles to back office teams, the difference every single person makes and how to get started.
How long is the course?
You’ll be with us for 18 weeks.
Where will I need to go?
You’ll learn at our brilliant city centre campus, which is a stone’s throw from bus and train stops (and a short walk from shops and lunch stops!)
Will I get work experience?
You’ll undertake an 8 week work experience placement with Regenda Homes or Onward Homes.
Will I get a qualification?
You’ll leave this course with a Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 2 qualification, which will look great on your CV if you apply for any housing roles in the future.
You can also complete your Maths and/or English functional skills (if needed).

Construction
Duration: 12 weeks
Location: Liverpool
This construction training programme will set you on the right path to a successful career in the building industry. From new homes to world famous football stadiums and everything in between, you’ll meet renowned guest speakers and learn about:
- An introduction to construction
- Health and safety in a construction environment
- CSCS training
- Green skills
- Introduction to construction
- Customer service skills
- Wellbeing and resilience
- Employability skills
- Skills needed for the workplace
- Transferable skills such as communication, team work, problem solving
- First aid
Will I get work experience?
You’ll undertake a work placement with a local construction company, getting hands on experience for your future career.
Will I get a qualification?
You’ll leave this course with:

A CSCS card, which allows you to work on UK construction sites
