Adults in Liverpool to benefit from a boost in adult skills funding
This month, the Liverpool City Region announced its largest investment in adult skills training to date. £54m will be distributed to education providers, like us, across the Liverpool City Region to provide training to over 30,000 residents.
A boost in this funding will enable The Learning Foundry to deliver more of our free adult learning courses, short courses at Levels 2 and 3 equivalent to GCSE and A-levels, and our new Skills Bootcamps – short, flexible programmes of up to 16 weeks, co-designed with employers and industry experts meant to provide local people with in-demand skills.
Our adult learning courses and Skills Bootcamps can be accessed by anyone 19+ living within the Liverpool City Region, either unemployed or employed earning under £30,000.
From childcare to construction, housing and hospitality, live music to retrofit to retail, The Learning Foundry are proud to offer something for everyone, regardless of age, experience or circumstance - it’s part of our mission to make all talent shine.
