Standards soar as TLF joins top 10

The Learning Foundry has become one of the top performing training providers in the Liverpool City Region after revealing an impressive achievement rate above the national average.

At 71.6% the newly announced 2018/19 achievement rate puts The Learning Foundry 6.9% above the national average and represents an impressive climb of 12% over their 2017/18 figures.

The statistics, published by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and Department for Education, place The Learning Foundry as one of the top 10 performing training providers in the Liverpool City Region.

Rebranding just one year ago and investing in a state of the art new campus in Liverpool City Centre, The Learning Foundry, formerly known as Alder Training, has been firmly established across Merseyside for over 25 years, and offers accredited courses, apprenticeships and traineeships in areas such as Management, Business, Customer Service, Housing, Dental Nursing, Childcare and Health and Social Care.

Joanne Abraham, Managing Director at The Learning Foundry, said, “We’re really happy with the progress we have made one year on from our rebranding, but this is only the beginning.  Apprenticeships and traineeships are more important than ever, and we will be doing our utmost to continue on an upward trajectory for 2020/21 and beyond”.

The news comes as Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, talked of the important role training and development needs to play in economic recovery during his summer statement.  Announcing financial incentives for employers to recruit apprentices and trainees, the statement highlights that it is more important than ever for training providers such as The Learning Foundry to maintain high standards and make a positive impact on the lives of young people throughout the Liverpool City Region, and nationally.
