
This course is for people who have a responsibility for safeguarding in their job role - whether that’s working in a local authority, childcare, school, college, the emergency services, housing, or health and social care.
The course provides an understanding of safeguarding and the Prevent duty, including online safety, and potential signs of abuse/harm.
Learners will gain a greater awareness of the responsibilities and procedures involved in safeguarding and how to raise concerns effectively.

Learners who complete the programme with achieve the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Safeguarding and Prevent.
This is a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification.
